The HMEC 26T is a lightweight closed aviation headset with Active Noise Reduction NoiseGard™. The HMEC 26-T features the Talk-Through-Function. By pressing the button on the headset a direct communication with the flight crew is possible. The headset can still be worn. The speech transmission frequency range will be transmitted through the Talk-Through-Microphones. NoiseGard™ will still protect from ambient noise while the Talk-Through feature is active.

The cable choices for this headset are the B-K model, which has the ANR battery box only, or the The B-V-K cable which includes dual volume control, stereo/mono switch, and cell phone/audio ports. Both cables have ETSO approval C57a & C58a.
